Rep. Edolphus "Ed" Towns (NY10) released the following statement today on the shootings in Aurora, Colorado:

"I was saddened and dismayed to learn about the shootings that occurred in an Aurora, Colorado movie theatre. My prayers are with the family and friends of the deceased and wounded. Although words can only provide a small measure of comfort, know that Americans throughout our nation are pulling together to heal the city and people of Aurora, Colorado."
